SlidesLive Stands with Ukraine

As a video production company with offices in Manhattan, Munich and Prague, SlidesLive is always staying up to date when it comes to the events currently affecting our world. Consequently, when Russia invaded Ukraine, the SlidesLive team knew we could not stand still. SlidesLive stands with Ukraine, and the team wanted to show that support by taking action.

When it comes to providing help, taking action immediately is always the most beneficial, especially when the government can be slow in decision making. As a small yet mighty team, SlidesLive gathered its employees and decided to do some internal fundraising with friends and family. All funds donated by employees were doubled by the company, totaling around $12,860 for Ukraine. Instead of donating money, the SlidesLive team exchanged it for medical supplies and protective gear bought through vendors and partners.

Within a few hours of the exchange for supplies, several cars full of equipment were sent straight to Ukraine without hesitation. The SlidesLive team also arranged transportation for refugees and continues to support and donate to charities.

In a time of crisis, the SlidesLive team doesn’t like to just stand around. Ukraine needs the help of whoever is willing, and we decided that the best way to do that was through fundraising within our team. We are grateful for all of our employees and friends who donated, and we continue to stand with Ukraine.
