Before the pandemic affected the way organizers host events and conferences, SlidesLive had already developed a relationship with In/Visible Talks. Their annual conference seeks to celebrate the art of design with creative professionals. After partnering with SlidesLive for their very first event in 2018, In/Visible Talks has become a loyal customer.

SlidesLive spoke with Arianna Orland, co-founder of In/Visible Talks, to discuss how SlidesLive has developed over the years and how the partnership between the two has grown since the start of their partnership in 2018. Trust, comfort and dependability are all part of a successful relationship of any kind, and Arianna discusses how In/Visible Talks came to find these qualities in SlidesLive.

“SlidesLive’s responsiveness, dependability, and depth of technical knowledge are all things that contributed to our positive working relationship,” Arianna said.

Whenever Arianna and her team had a question about their upcoming event, SlidesLive made sure to do their part, responding quickly and thoroughly. When it comes to large conferences and events, there’s already a ton for organizers to worry about. SlidesLive wants to take that weight off of the organizer’s shoulders and delegate it to our team.

“With any project of a certain scale there’s a lot of follow up,” Arianna said. “SlidesLive is always the first to follow up and stay on top of the work we’ve committed to.”

It takes a lot of organization to keep track of all of the different aspects of a large event. Whether it be speakers, audience members or sponsors, there’s a lot of people who are involved in the success of an event. Making sure that everyone is pleased is a hard task, but SlidesLive wants to make that process easier.

“The best part of working with SlidesLive is feeling confident our event will go well because we have trust and history in our partnership,” Arianna said.

Arianna and her team have become particularly close with one of SlidesLive’s production managers, Adéla Kalčáková. As a production manager, Adéla’s responsibilities range from production to editing to technical support to automation and more. Production managers must adapt for clients and manage the complexity of large projects, and Adéla has done that for In/Visible Talks.

“Adéla is basically a part of our team at this point,” Arianna said. “She is knowledgeable, on top of it and inspires trust at every turn. There can be pre-event jitters even for folks who have put on events before and with events going virtual this year, this was especially true. Each and every time we had a question Adéla was quick to respond and set things back on track.”

Partnering with In/Visible Talks has been a fun experience full of adjustments for the SlidesLive team. The transition from in-person to virtual events has definitely been a learning experience, but that’s what tests a team’s ability to succeed under pressure. Both In/Visible and SlidesLive together have taken their service to the virtual world, and that’s something to be proud of.
